Rain!!!
Memorial Day Weekend.
There is always the chance of rain on Memorial Day Weekend.
Oh,yes!!!
My family has been planning this trip for a very long time. Well, at least I had. Friday afternoon we took off for Green River, Utah. It starts raining. Me and Travis look at each other. " Maybe it will clear out by the time we get there?" I say to him. WRONG!!! It rained in Price, it rained ALL the way to Green River. Did it ever stop? NOPE! In the back of my head I had a list of all the things that where playing against this trip and RAIN was not one of them!
GRRRRRRRR!!!!!
After a great night sleeping in the car. The rain was still coming down. After long debate and I mean long debate. We cancelled the trip.
I must say that I really admire my Dad and siblings for there adventitious spirit. But the rain and my kids plus my little nephews and niece. I just couldn't do it. I'm really sorry that we weren't able to go but on the other hand that stupid, RAIN!!!
We did however take a minute to do some fishing and play in the geyser.

Kayden was told not to be boring. He definitely was not. Soaked clear through and loving every minute!!!

Alicia was so brave this year and slept under the canoes with Uncle Mike.

Some of the brave ones in the morning.

Uncle Mike's Chickens
Last week we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for a little Birthday party. We discovered Mike's little hobby has grown,CHICKENS!!! I must say for never raising them he is doing a great job. They've got a little condo and a corn field near by. Don't forget the Beehives! I'm seriously impressed. Way to go Mike!!! But truly the best thing out of this little farm are my nephews and niece. The poor little chickens ran for there lives and 6 little legs scampered to get them. To see there faces light up when they got them is priceless. Oh! I love them so much. Just want to squeeze them silly. Hands down the cutest ever, and I'm there Aunt. I'm so lucky.
